Meet Clint McCance, an Arkansa Midland School District Vice President who has these lovely things to say about gay people on his Facebook page.

"Seriously they want me to wear purple because five queers killed themselves. The only way im wearin it for them is if they all commit suicide. I cant believe the people of this world have gotten this stupid. We are honoring the fact that they sinned and killed thereselves because of their sin. REALLY PEOPLE."

Comments were then left on his page as a response to this post and he continued with his hatred message with another doozy.

"[B]eing a fag doesn't give you the right to ruin the rest of our lives. If you get easily offended by being called a fag then dont tell anyone you are a fag. Keep that shit to yourself. I dont care how people decide to live their lives. They dont bother me if they keep it to thereselves. It pisses me off though that we make a special purple fag day for them. I like that fags cant procreate. I also enjoy the fact that they often give each other aids and die. If you arent against it, you might as well be for it."

He added that, "I would disown my kids they were gay. They will not be welcome at my home or in my vicinity. I will absolutely run them off. Of course my kids will know better. My kids will have solid christian beliefs. See it infects everyone."

The MSD Officials have condemned McCance's bigotry but unfortunately can't fire him over it. Since his position is an elected one the Department of Education can only recall a member if they have a felony or absentee issues. So basically as long McCance keeps showing up for work, he can keep on encouraging gay kids to commit suicide all he wants. For now, Thompson says her department "will monitor and quickly respond to any bullying of students that may occur because of this, as we have with other civil rights issues in the past." But for students who have just been cruelly insulted by an official who's supposed to protect and help them, this may not be much comfort.

Rand Paul Supporter believes he deserves an apology for his attack on a woman!

By now, I'm sure all of you have heard about 23 year old Lauren Valle of Kentucky who was attacked as she protested candidate Rand Paul. Supporters of Paul's felt that she was a threat and decided to take action, however Valle said the attack was premeditated.

The attacker Tim Proffit offered up this non-apology. "I'm sorry that it came to that, I apologize if it appeared overly forceful, but I was concerned about Rand's saftey." Uh, I think it more than appears overly forceful dude! Luckily charges will be pressed for Assault, however it is Proffit who believes he deserves an apology.

Dad Confronts Abortion Protesters

Jerry Crew and his wife were trying for another baby. Sadly after 16 weeks they were told that the fetus had sirenomelia or "mermaid syndrome," a rare deformity in which the lower half of the body is fused together and missing several internal organs. Crews' wife had only two options, either have an abortion or give birth to a still born child. Naturally, the anti-abortion protesters standing outside the clinic screaming at his wife as they went inside didn't think of that possibility, so he let them have it!

Short people can't serve so why should gays?

You might already know Massachusetts congressional candidate Sean Bielat, after his delightful add against his openly gay opponent, Rep. Barney Frank doing "gay dance moves." Well now we get to be enlightened with his reasoning as to why gays shouldn't serve in the military.

"There's no absolute right to serve. Men under the height of 5 feet, 2 inches can't serve - I don't see anybody protesting. Where are the people standing in front of the White House, the short guys standing in front of the White House? You don't see it," Bielat said. "We understand that there's no absolute right to serve in all these other areas."

Uh huh, well a logical person would say that one group isn't physically able to serve while the other is but let's just leave that aside.

Nothing is more important than school spirit; even if you were raped!

If you were raped by someone on the basketball team, would you still want to cheer his name? No? Huh, that's odd because your job as a cheerleader is to do so despite any assaults against you. At least that's the case for a 16 year old in Texas' Silsbee High.

High school football star Rakheem Bolton and two others were indicted for sexual assault of a teen identified only as H.S.–at a post-game party in 2008. According to H.S.–a fellow student and cheerleader at Silsbee High–Bolton, football player Christian Rountree and another juvenile male forced her into a room, locked the door, held her down and sexually assaulted her. When other party-goers tried to get into the room, two of the men fled through an open window, including Bolton, who left clothing behind. Bolton allegedly threatened to shoot the occupants of the house when the homeowner refused to return his clothes.

In September 2010, Bolton pled guilty to a lesser charge of Class A Assault and was sentenced to only one year in prison, a sentence that was suspended by the judge in lieu of two years probation, a $2,500 fine, community service and an anger management course.

Doesn't sound like much justice for H.S. now does it? Oh but it gets better!

Silsbee school officials had two responses to the incident. First, they urged H.S. to keep a low profile, such as avoiding the school cafeteria and not taking part in homecoming activities. With the support of her family, she refused to do so, rejecting the notion that she had anything to be ashamed of. Secondly, school officials kicked her off the cheerleading squad for refusing to cheer for Bolton. No kidding.
Bolton had been allowed back on campus during a brief period when one grand jury withdrew the charges before another grand jury reinstated them. During a basketball game, H.S. cheered for the entire team but refused to cheer “Rakheem” during his free-throws, so she was off the squad.

H.S.’s parents sued the school for violating her right to free speech, but an appeals court dismissed her case earlier this month. The bizarre reasoning: “In her capacity as cheerleader, [she] served as a mouthpiece through which the school could disseminate speech–namely, support for its athletic teams.” Not cheering for Bolton “constituted substantial interference with the work of the school because, as a cheerleader, [she] was at the basketball game for the purpose of cheering, a position she undertook voluntarily.” In other words, the “work of the school” is basketball, and H.S. was obligated to put on a robotic smile and cheer for the man who had assaulted her.

The lesson here ladies is if you get raped by someone on the team that you're cheering for you still have to give him the satisfaction of screaming his name.

Christine O'Donnel finally figures out the 1st Amendment of religious freedom

Christine O'Donnell never ceases to amaze me with her stupidity! I haven't been able to focus any posts on her because I just didn't know where to begin. Should it be that she practiced witchcraft or that she is anti-masturbation? So as hard as this decision has been for me, I think that her post will be about her lack of knowledge of the Constitution. More specifically the First Amendment. Her opponent Chris Coons said that creationism, which he considers "a religious doctrine," should not be taught in public schools due to the Constitution's First Amendment. He argued that it explicitly enumerates the separation of church and state.

"The First Amendment does?" O'Donnell asked. "Let me just clarify: You're telling me that the separation of church and state is found in the First Amendment?"

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," Coons responded, reciting from memory the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

"That's in the First Amendment...?" O'Donnell responded.

Yeah, lady, that is the First Amendment. Also I just want to point out that in the video of the debate she roles her eyes as if she doesn't believe this is accurate. Wow!

Meet Gregory Liascos.

The 36-year-old Oregon man was arrested for allegedly trying to burglarize a museum devoted to rocks and minerals. Liascos did this, police allege, while dressed in head-to-toe camouflage suit seen here.

According to deputies, a police dog discovered Liascos hiding in a wooded area near the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals, where investigators found evidence of an attempt to cut a hole into an exterior wall of the Hillsboro institution.

Liascos was charged with burglary and criminal mischief and booked into the county lockup. What a catch ladies!

And if you're wondering about a happily ever after, don't worry they now live together with her first husbands' sons and are planning their dream wedding. So all's well that ends well I suppose.

I love coming across ads or business cards that sound completely innappropriate. I always wonder who came up with that and if they really thought hard about what they were writing.

The only business card that's come close to the hilarity that belongs to Tobias'

would be from a marketing company that helps promote Direct TV. I'll post the picture later today but they are called Penmax and their slogan is, "Maximize your penetration." Yes, it could have been on purpose however after meeting these people, I find it highly doubtful that they picked up on the innuendo.

I watched this documentary last night and boy was it an eye opener. I knew that I hated Wal-Mart with a passion but I didn't quite know why. Here are some very good reasons below:

WAL-MART Drives Down Retail Wages $4.7 BILLION Every Year

• "A recent study by researchers at UC Berkeley's Labor Center has quantified what happened to retail wages when Wal-Mart set up shop, drawing on 15 years of data on actual store openings. The study found that Wal-Mart drives down wages in urban areas, with an annual loss of at least $4.7 billion dollars in earnings for retail workers."

$86 MILLION a Year to California Taxpayers

• In 2004, a study released the UC Berkeley Labor Center found that "reliance by Wal-Mart workers on public assistance programs in California comes at a cost to taxpayers of an estimated $86 million annually; this is comprised of $32 million in health related expenses and $54 million in other assistance."

WAL-MART Costs Taxpayers $1,557,000,000,00 to Support its Employees

• "The Democratic Staff of the Committee on Education and the Workforce estimates that one 200-person Wal-Mart store may result in a cost to federal taxpayers of $420,750 per year - about $2,103 per employee. E-Harmony

So I have set forth on a new adventure out of sheer boredom/lonlieness and signed up with E-Harmony as a nice little experiment. At no time did it occur to me that I'd actually go through with it but I kept submitting my answers to ultra personal questions until my profile was complete. Then this morning I get to my emails and see that I have 7 matches and they want to talk with me! This is moving way too fast for my taste but out of curiosity I read their profiles. Dying child taunted on Facebook

Nick found this lovely couple who have hit a new low in humanity. 7 year old Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of Huntington's Disease which recently killed her 24 year old mother, Laura. But instead of compassion from her neighbor's they've been subjected to internet mockery, including Facebook postings of the deceased mother with the Grim Reaper and the still alive little girl as the skull in a skull and cross bones picture.

Apparently this feud started over a bouncy castle for one of Kathleen's birthdays. The neighbors wanted their son to be invited as well but the family did not return their request in a timely manner which has led to harrassment ever since. Keep in mind these aren't just allegations, they full on admit to it and when asked why, Jennifer Petkrov said, "for personal satisfaction... because it burns Rebecca Rose's ass raw."

Now, they have since apologized however someone as passionate as the Petkrov's were in the interview below, you begin to wonder if it was because of the death threats they have recieved or the bullying thier child was getting at school. Apparently people don't like it when you pick on dying 7 year olds. Who knew right?

As a person with tattoos, you have to learn to be much smarter than this! A White Sox fan is suing a Chicago tattoo parlor because they got the logo backwards. Here's the thing lady, before they turn the needle on, you have to approve it. Case closed!

Peruvian Teen in Wheelchair after denied a Medically Necessary Abortion

Remember that story about the woman in Poland who died because the doctors refused to operate because she was pregnant and could have miscarried? Well here's a similar story from Peru.

This 13 year old girl was raped repeatedly by a 34 year old man. When she found out about the pregnancy, he refused to believe it was his which led her to a suicide attempt. She climbed to the top of her neighbors building and jumped, it took a few hours for her to be noticed on the street then taken to the hospital.

However the doctors refused to operate because she was pregnant even though in Peru, it is legal to save a woman's life if it means an abortion, and her family petitioned for one.

She later miscarried and it took four months for her to be granted the surgery she needed, by which time it was too late to do much good, she is now confined to a wheelchair.

The Center for Reproductive Rights is litigating her case, arguing that Peru is in violation of its own constitution as well as international treaties.

Lesbian thieves

Two lesbians say they were kicked out of a Baltimore Ravens game on Sept. 26 for kissing in the concessions stand line. They were warned by a security guard to “stop making a scene” and asked to show their drivers’ licenses and receipts for their purchases. The stadium claims they kicked these heathens out because they “stole” a plastic cup to pour ketchup into. Wow, I didn't know that 3 cents would cause such a stir. Also I'm pretty sure that I've done that before too, please don't tell the authorities.

Doctors let woman die rather than harm her fetus

Here's a logical story for everyone! A woman in Poland died as a result of multiple doctors refusing treatment to a life threatening colon condition because it could result in a miscarraige. They also never gave her a reason as to why she wasn't getting treatment because of a tiny loop hole in the law where if the dr. admits to the problem, they have to recommend someone that wouldn't have an issue with that potential outcome.

Now I'm not sure how much medical schooling these guys passed because to me it's common knowledge that if the mother dies, the fetus can not live. Especially when it was only 2 months along. So good job fellas, loose both lives to try to save one. Congrats!

Noise Drama

At 9:30 last night, just as I was about to go to sleep early after a long day of nothing, construction began on my street, complete with jack hammers. It's all part of city living I suppose and even though it was annoying it did get more soothing as the night went on, much like the loud drunken arguments in the parking lot or the homeless wrestling through the garbage.

Not all people have the kind of noise tolerance that I do, much like Cheryl Lindgren who provided her opinion in the New York Times for an article about noisy wind turbines. She made the completly normal piece that included property value statistics and questions of the future, totally, uh, interesting.

“I remember the sound of silence so palpable, so merciless in its depths, that you could almost feel your heart stop in sympathy,” she said. “Now we are prisoners of sonic effluence. I grieve for the past.”

Yup, an actual living human being said these things. Dramatic much? I'd like see her live in my building and hear what she has to say. Wait, no I don't.

Counselor rapes 3 teens under his supervision and gets away with probation

You have got to be fucking kidding me!


Tony Simmons a New York City juvenile justice counselor raped at least three teens in his custody. So what kind of sentence did he face? Probation. Where is Lisbeth Salander when you need her? She would have taken a taser to his neck, used his toys against him and tattooed "I'm a rapist pig" on his stomach.


His victims include a 13 year old in a holding area, a 15 year old who was sodomized behind a locker (filled with condoms and cookies) and Ashley pictured above. She was 15 and on her way into court escorted by Simmons, when he took her into the basement and raped her. "I knew I was just raped. I knew it wasn't supposed to happen. I didn't think anybody would believe me." Meanwhile she served a year for filing a false report by telling the police she did not know the person who had attacked her on the way to school. 
 

Unfortunately for Ashley she was right. Despite the charges carrying a max sentence of eight years, Simmons managed to get away with only probation.

It's believed that he lucked out due to a problematic system and stereotypical judgment. A jury might not have believed a black teen prisoner accusing a white court officer of rape with no witnesses and no physical evidence.

There is strangely little reporting on this topic besides The Daily News, though the district attorney has called the verdict, "an egregious breach of the public's trust. While a judge has the responsibility to decide what he or she thinks is a fair sentence, in our view today's sentence of probation is outrageously lenient given the admitted conduct."

Also of that opinion is New York City's branch of NOW, which has started a petition (see link below) on the victims' behalf, asking, "If we cannot deliver justice for these three teen victims who were assaulted on the premises of the Manhattan Family Court building by an employee assigned to protect them, how can we expect justice for any women.

Good intentions or not, there is a scandal growing around a controversial questionnaire that asks the mothers of Russian schoolchildren if they have had abortions. It's entitled "Passport of a Pupil's Health," which the Russan Education and Science Ministry is planning to introduce in 2012. In the meantime, the ministry recently launched an experiment introducing the questionnaire in several schools in the Saratov region, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reports. The “Health Passport” immediately sparked a storm of controversy.

“I was shocked when I saw the questions,” said one parent, Vadim Krasnov, as quoted by Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. “We had to answer whether my wife planned her pregnancy, if she planned to have an abortion, how the labor was… How is this relevant to my son’s schooling and his health?”

The 43-page long document also requested details on the family’s income, details of their living conditions and other personal information. Special sections ask to evaluate the child’s character, including such traits as aggressiveness, tendency to hysterics, and level of conformity, to name just a few.

The Ministry of Education and Science claims the project is meant to encourage kids to develop a responsible attitude towards their health. According to official data, only about ten per cent of graduates can be called absolutely healthy.

“We hope the “Health Passport” is going to become another stimulus for planning proper daily regimen, controlling the workload during PE classes, eating habits of the child and providing him/her with enough physical activity,” explained the Ministry.

Ok, so explain to me again why my child would have to answer certain personal questions that have nothing to do with him or her?

Outraged parents have gained support from a non-government organization “All-Russia Teacher-Parent Meeting”, which says the questionnaire violates basic civil rights and could even pose a serious danger.

"From the legal point of view this experiment is a gross violation of the main rights and freedoms of Russian citizens,” the organization’s statement said.“Chronic diagnoses are family and medical secrets. Who and why, except for parents and doctors, needs information about the child’s health, his/her illnesses and sexual development? Can this information get into the hands of criminals and pedophiles or juvenile justice agencies?”

The Ministry does recognize that there are some flaws and have taken the parent's complaints into account. Let's hope that by 2012 kids won't have to ask these types of questions and parents won't have to answer.

Anti-gay Church vs. Grieving Father

Just imagine, the worst day of your life; burying your child who died a hero in Iraq. Now add in Westboro Baptist Church protesting your son's funeral with signs such as "God Hates America," Priests Rape Boys,"  "You're Going to Hell," and "God Hates You." Put it this way, if I was this child's parent I would have done a lot more than sue for defamation and invasion of privacy! However this is the road that Albert Snyder took and on his first try, the jury agreed to his claim and awarded him millions. Unfortunatley that decision was overturned so it's now up to the Supreme Court to decide.

Fred Phelps leads the church in these anti-gay protests. Keep in mind here that Matthew Snyder was not gay - not that it should matter anyway but just a sidenote. He says,"That's what I preach. They're either fags or fucking enablers. Take your choice, each one is going to hell." Another church member said, "We're here to tell them that they sent their son to hell." The church then posted a blog after that protest. In it, the Phelps family said Albert Snyder and his wife raised Matthew "for the devil" and that "God killed Matthew so His servants would have an opportunity to preach His words" at other venues across Maryland.

Before they began protesting the funerals of soldiers, church members brought their colorful "God hates fags" signs to the funerals of gay men who died of AIDS or AIDS-related illnesses. Church members also picketed the funeral of Matthew Shepherd, the victim of an anti-gay beating and one of those for whom the Matthew Shepherd and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act was named. Don't worry though, they never want to leave anyone out so they also show up at football games, music concerts, Jewish institutions, the Holocaust Museum in Washington, state legislatures and courthouses. And of course, they plan on picketing outside the Supreme Court. Lovely!

There are many things here that blow my mind but one of them is how they protest soldiers - the very people who fight to protect the freedoms of this country, including the one that they are hiding behind. "They are using the First Amendment as a sword and a shield. My son and thousands like him did not put their lives on the line so that someone could abuse the Constitution like this," Snyder said. "Men and women have died for this right and to have it abused and spit on -- it's not free speech. This fight has never been about free speech to me, it's about harassment."

Snyder's attorney, Sean Summers, says there would be no constitutional quandary if the Phelps picketed the state capitol or in a public park. But he says this is different. "When they protest outside a private funeral, they're not trying to advocate for or against a particular position. All they're doing is harassing a family so they can hijack someone else's private event."

Princess-ification of the Holy Bible

When I was younger I went to a Christian camp which wasn't all that bad except for the early morning bible -prayer sessions and the sing alongs about Jesus. Unfortunately for them, they didn't get me. I asked way too many questions and didn't like it's take on women (yes I was pro-ladies rights at the early age of 10).
Now if during one of those bible reads a counselor was to put this pink shit on my lap, I would have run for the hills. I really can't put it much better than this Amazon.com reviewer:
